What is the longest time span any member has taken fish from the freezer,defrosted,cooked, and consumed.

not sure never last long enough to get in the freezer my little girl lives on the stuff and the other reason i never catch much

probably 6 months after that it goes in the bait freezer agreed paul, ;D ;D ;D we have bbq'd 6 month frozen trout and it was fine,longer than that i would'nt bother, .

thanks Andy...i'll be honest with you ...i'm not a fish lover but smoked fish is something i'm interested in...H loves fish..i've never tried kippers...will give it a go ..cheers
